The 2022 KCPA Summit was held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.


The Kansas City Physical Activity Summit was an interactive online event, engaging with partners from across various sectors of society that impact physical activity in Kansas City. Much of the summit meeting time was devoted to cross-sector discussions and identifying priorities for Kansas City physical activity implementation projects.


A keynote presentation was delivered by Dr. William Kohl III, Chair of the National Physical Activity Plan and Professor at University of Texas. The National Physical Activity Plan serves as a guide for the Kansas City Physical Activity Plan.
